国連の気候変動枠組条約（パリ協定）の第29回締約国会議（COP29）が2024年11月に、アゼルバイジャンの首都バクーで開催された。本書では、このCOP29で一番の焦点となった2025年以降の世界の新しい気候資金の目標（新規合同数値目標：NCQG）の決定とその意義について、これまでの背景や今後の展望も踏まえて解説する。一般社団法人　産業環境管理協会が刊行する機関誌「環境管理」2025年2月号の特別寄稿として掲載された記事になる（IGES大田純子研究員執筆の該当記事のみ抜粋、日本語のみ）。
