Reflection Note of the SDGs Global Human Resource Development Program 2024

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies organized "the SDGs Global Human Resource Program that Connects Learning and Society through Environmental Issues" in FY2024 under UNESCO Activity Grant by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Total of seventeen university and graduyate school students across Japan with diverse nationality and academic background particiapted via open call process to particiapte in this program. The program provided learning experience through visiting three SDGs frontrunner cities and town in Japan, namely Kamikatsu Town, Kitakyushu City, and Minamata City, as well as introductory session at IGES headquarters in Kanagawa Prefecture.  This is a reflection note written by the participants, organizer and partners of this program. (Note:  The affiliation of the participants written are as of Nov. 2024.)
