財団法人地球環境戦略研究機関(IGES、神奈川県葉山町 理事長 浜中裕徳)は、2012年6月にブラジル・リオデジャネイロで開催される国連持続可能な開発会議(UNCSD)(以下、リオ+20)に先立ち、2011年11月1日付で国連経済社会局(UNDESA:リオ+20事務局)に「リオ+20に向けた  IGESプロポーザル」を提出しました。本プロポーザルは、同局がとりまとめる「リオ+20成果文書のための統合文書」に掲載される予定です。

本プロポーザルでは、東日本大震災及びそれに伴う福島原発事故を重要な教訓として踏まえ、 環境・経済・社会の“レジリエンス(しなやかな強さ、対応力)”の強化が持続可能な開発の実現に向けた重要かつグローバルな課題であると指摘します。
