グリーンボンドの市場規模は国内外で年々拡大し、日本国内の発行額は2020年には約1兆170億円にまで成長した。一方、グリーンボンドのレポーティングについては、国際的にも、一貫性の欠如や不適切性が指摘されており、投資家が発行体によって開示されているインパクトを自身のポートフォリオに落とし込むことが困難であることが課題とされている。本稿では、グリーンボンドによって期待される又は実現した環境改善効果（インパクト）について、発行体が投資家の信頼を得るために重要な役割を担っている、レポーティングにおけるインパクトの記載（インパクトレポ―ティング）について議論し、以下を提言として提示した。
