JITMAP Website

JITMAP aims to connect Japanese manufacturers of low carbon technologies (LCTs) with Indian industries that are seeking ways to reduce their carbon footprints. The Japan India technology Matchmaking Platform (JITMAP) launched its online information sharing portal at the World Summit for Sustainable Development on February 15th, 2018 in Delhi India. The JITMAP website (http://jitmap.org/index.php) provides comprehensive information on policy, finance, technologies, and case studies demonstrating on the ground implementation of energy efficient technologies from Japan amongst Indian industries.
The JITMAP platform is a cognitive outcome of rigorous efforts by IGES, Japan, and TERI, India, during the project to promote low carbon technologies in India. Drawing from the research and field analysis, need for a comprehensive platform to meet the ‘’needs’’ of Indian industries to adopt energy efficient technologies and promote ‘’seeds’’ of the Japanese industries aiming to cater the Indian market was realised which resulted in JITMAP.
The JITMAP website showcase, platform`s activities, stakeholder collaborations and provides opportunities for organizations in Japan and India at every level—academia, banks and financial institutions, technology consultants, business associations, policy-making bodies, R & D institutes, etc.— to engage as active participants in the technology transfer processes
