Japan’s Efforts in Green Investment

The training material was provided as part of a training course held on 20 – 24 September 2022 under the Japan-Singapore Partnership Programme for the 21^st Century (JSPP21). The training course was related to the green economy. It was organized jointly by the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), targeting 18 government officers from nine Asian countries. The presentation explained various concepts and contexts related to green finance and green investment. It also outlined Japan’s efforts in green investment, with a special focus on the initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industries (METI), the Financial Service Agency (FSA), and the Bank of Japan.
