Maps of forest and other land with tree cover in the Philippines, 2020

The dataset contains three georeferenced maps: (1) A map of lands identified as "Open forest", "Closed forest", or "Mangrove forest" in the Philippines' 2020 land cover map ("PH_NAMRIA_OFCFMF.shp"); (2) A map of additional areas containing tree cover matching FAO's definition of "Forest" that were identified using a map integration process described in Johnson et al. (2023) ("PH_hiddenforests.shp)"; (3) A map of areas containing tree cover matching FAO's definition of "Other land with tree cover" (excluding oil palm, fruit trees, and a few other types), also identified using the map integration process. This dataset is intended as a supplementary material for Johnson et al. (2023), and more information on the dataset can be found there.
