IGES attended Asia Water Week 2013
ADB organised Asia Water Week 2013 from 13 to 15 March at its headquarters in Manila, the Philippines, to deepen and expand analytical work on Asia’s water sector to advance inclusive policy reforms and strengthen support for priority programmes and projects. Asia Water Week 2013 had as its overarching theme "Securing Water for All" under three areas: Basin Water Management, Urban Water Services, and Rural Water Services. The conference covered cross-cutting topics such as climate change, water-food-energy nexus and disaster management, as well as sub-sector specific discussions, including water supply and sanitation, water resources and environment, and agriculture and irrigation.

IGES was invited as an exhibitor. Materials related to Groundwater Knowledge Hub, Water Environment Partnership in Asia (WEPA), information about ongoing projects and other relevant publications such as a Policy Brief (Long Term Electricity Scenario And Water Use: A Case Study On India) and a recent IGES Policy Report (MRV for Low Carbon Development) were on display.
