Empowerment is key to poverty eradication and human dignity: Lessons and perspectives from the ENRICH program in Bangladesh

IGES and the Japan Society for International Development (JASID) Yokohama Branch co-organnise the international seminar entitled "Empowerment is key to poverty eradication and human dignity: Lessons and perspectives from the ENRICH program in Bangladesh". The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad. Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, the Chairman of the Institute of Microfinance, Bangladesh, is a renowned socio-economic specialist and development thinker. In a career spanning over almost five decades, Dr. Ahmad has extensively participated in research activities and dialogues, nationally and internationally, covering different social, political, economic, and environmental issues related to sustainable development.
