IGES-TERI-TDLC kick-off blended e-learning course "Science and Policy of Climate Change 2013"
From 13 September, IGES kicked off a blended learning programme "Science and Policy of Climate Change 2013" with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and the World Bank, Tokyo Development Learning Centre (TDLC).
The course provides learners with the unique opportunity to learn about climate science and policy through four modules. Learners follow an interdisciplinary approach that is enriched by 1) audio and video lectures from international experts, 2) downloadable lecture materials, and 3) interactive on-line discussions.
The program has been customized for development practitioners, policy makers, corporate sector, graduates and mid-level professionals. On successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a joint certificate from TERI, IGES and TDLC.
IGES researchers will deliver a series of lectures during the course programme on international climate change negotiations and the political economy of climate change actions.
