On 19 September 2012, the Nuclear Regulation Authority (‘NRA’) of Japan took over the functions of compiling and publishing radiation monitoring data from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (‘MEXT’). The monitoring data compiled on or before 18 September 2012 can still be viewed on MEXT websites.
