兵庫県では第5次兵庫県環境基本計画（2019年2月策定）の改訂にあたり、2050年への展望を見据え、2050年に社会の中心を担う現在の若者世代を含む幅広い世代の意見を反映させるため、「ひょうご環境未来会議」を開催した。同会議は2024年6月1日、8日、15日の3日間、それぞれ豊岡市、神戸市、姫路市において開催され、IGES関西研究センターはその企画・運営を支援した。同会議では、将来世代の意見を効果的に取り入れるため、大阪大学大学院工学研究科・原圭史郎教授の協力（学術指導）の下、フューチャー・デザインの手法を採用した。会議には計67名（高校生43名、大学生6名、社会人18名）が参加し、「脱炭素」「自然共生」「資源循環」のテーマごとに計14グループに分かれ、その課題や目指すべき姿...

本業務では、日本とインドの更なる環境協力の促進に資するため、インドにおける日本の環境技術の導入促進に関する研修セミナーをJITMAPの枠組みを活用して1回開催した。

2016年に締結したMoUに基づき、インドにおける日本の環境技術（低炭素・省エネ技術を含む）移転の推進、および兵庫県（日本）とグジャラート州（インド）の交流を強化するため、令和5年度（2023年度）は、以下の業務を実施した。 1) JITMAPが過去に実施した圧縮空気システムに関するFSのフォローアップ活動を通じた、技術及びその効率的な運用手法に関する改善提案の採用によるエネルギー効率化、CO2削減、並びにコスト削減等の効果の確認。 2) タミル・ナドゥ州チェンナイにおける現地鋳造工場の経営者やマネージャー、技術コンサルタント、インド鋳造者協会（IIF）関係者、学術機関関係者等を対象とした「日本の技術と慣行：環境に優しい鋳物製造」に関する理解促進セミナーの実施。 3)...
