Resource Management and 3R: Towards Sustainable Asia

The gOpen Seminar Resource Management and 3R - Towards Sustainable Asiah was held on 11 March. These seminars were organised by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, UNEP and Asia-Pacific Forum for Environment and Development (APFED) IGES, as the secretariat, planned and supported these events.

With 200 participants, the open seminar introduced the impacts of Asian economies on the global environment and on resource issues. The direction of a solution through the implementation of sustainable resource management and the 3Rs was also discussed.
