Towards Low Carbon Societies: what is needed after Cancun?

Featuring Ms. Christiana Figueres, UNFCCC Executive Secretary, as a Keynote Speaker
Ms. Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), delivered the Forumfs Keynote Speech. The subsequent Discussion Session, placing special emphasis on the Cancun Agreement reached at COP16 last December, encouraged a free and lively exchange of opinions regarding what is required by national and international stakeholders in order to make progress towards the construction of a global low-carbon society.
Over 160 people participated for this open forum.
