Philippine DNA Workshop:
"CDM Project-Level Performance, Implementation Challenges and Future Prospects:
What Needs to be Done to Make Progress?" |

 Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and Environmental Management Bureau, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (EMB-DENR) of the Philippines, jointly organised a Philippine Designated National Authority (DNA) Workshop on 22 February 2010.
This workshop summarized collaborative activities between IGES and EMB-DENR in FY2009. From the Philippine DNA, they presented lessons learned from the site visits of registered CDM projects and possible improvements for evaluating sustainable development, which is the key component of the CDM.
IGES made presentations on the CDM updates under the international negotiation and on the results of calculation of the grid emission factors in the Philippines. |
