Post COP15 Workshop:
"Looking Ahead from Copenhagen and Future of Market mechanism CDM"
On 12 January 2010, IGES in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment Indonesia and Yayasan Bina Usaha Lingkugan (YBUL), held a workshop for government officers and private sectors as well as non-governmental organisations . Following the opening remarks, in the first session, IGES made a presentation about the decisions on the CDM and market mechanisms at COP15. National Council for Climate Change -Indonesia( DNPI) and the Ministry of Environment Indonesia also provided their presentations about Indonesiafs positions and its response towards the COP15 decisions. From CER-Indonesia, they introduced climate change mitigation on forestry sector in Indonesia. In the second session, both panelist and participants discussed the future market mechanism and Indonesian climate policies beyond 2012.
