IGES Kansai Research Center International Symposium 2009 |
| Climate Change/ Global Environment and Natural Disaster |
 IGES held an International Symposium on "Climate Change/Global Environment and Natural Disasters" based on the awareness of the connection between climate change/global environment and natural disasters. The symposium was an opportunity to share views with the public and with experts who have been involved in the fields of environment and disaster reduction. In a panel discussion, front-line experts actively discussed the major connection between climate change/global environment and natural disasters.
