Mainstreaming Adaptation in the Asia and the Pacific Region

Mission of the IGES Climate Change Adaptation Team is to facilitate mainstreaming adaptation at sectoral and national levels in the developing Asia Pacific. Some of the strategies, but not limited to, being assessed for facilitating mainstreaming includes measuring the effectiveness of adaptation actions and progress in mainstreaming adaptation, facilitating formation of integrated adaptation decision frameworks that enable policy-makers to effectively develop and implement national level adaptation plans and policies, and networking among various stakeholders to bridge needs with opportunities of adaptation in the Asia Pacific region.
