The IGES REDD-plus online database provides profiles of REDD-plus projects using a common template to facilitate learning, comparison and analysis. The project profiles are constructed using publically available material and each profile includes links to further sources of information, commentary and analysis. Country summaries on national REDD-plus preparedness activities are also provided. The database will be periodically extended and updated; IGES welcomes any information that is provided for this purpose. |

IGES and UNFCCC secretariat has signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the exchange of CDM data in May 2008 and have since agreed on the implementation for further collaboration of CDM/JI data analysis. Now we’re closely cooperating to synchronize the CDM data managed by UNFCCC secretariat with IGES CDM database to enhance the quality of data and its analysis for public and internal use. |

Innovative policies to promote development
strategies were identified as SPOs and those have been
developed by the eight sub-themes to recommend directions
to policy-makers for achieving sustainable development
in different policy areas. Each SPO highlights critical
instruments required for its implementation, expected
and observed impacts, evaluation, implementation issues,
and its applicability and limitations. A total of approximately
150 SPOs from the sub-themes have been developed and stored
in the SPO database on the user-friendly RISPO website. |

"IPCC-EFDB supports the GHG inventory
community by serving as a:
- Library of well documented emission factors and other parameters.
- Communication platform for dissemination and commenting on
new emission factors.
It is a dynamic database that supports countries in compiling
their national GHG inventories, facilitates the review process,
etc. It is open to any relevant proposals on emission factors
or other parameters. |
